Cefalù Lungomare

One of the most popular beaches in the area is the Cefalù Lido, which stands out for its crystal clear waters and its golden sand.

The beach is the ideal choice for families, thanks to its gently sloping seabed and the countless services it offers to bathers.

The coast is located a few steps from the city center and extends for over a kilometer and a half of coastline. From the beach it’s possible to enjoy an incredible background, consisting of the “rocca”, the cathedral and the old port of Cefalù.

Caldura

Caldura beach is just a few minutes far from the center of Cefalù but its scenery is totally different from the town’s Lido; it’s a beach made up of gravel and stones, with a seabed that immediately becomes deep. It is particularly suitable for snorkelers and diving enthusiasts, who can throw themselves from one of the many rocks that surround the coast. It’s better to go in the morning because the beach, surrounded by greenery, is shaded in the afternoon.

Sant’Ambrogio

Sant’Ambrogio is a very large beach characterized by the presence of stones and sand and a very clean and clear sea. It’s located in Sant’Ambrogio, a hamlet belonging to the municipality of Cefalù, an ideal place for lovers of peace and tranquility as it is never very crowded.

Furthermore, next to a long stretch of free beach, a part of the coast offers some services for bathers. If you decide to take a bath here, you cannot help but go to the top of the tiny village of the same name, where you can enjoy a dish or have an aperitif on a wonderful terrace with a truly breathtaking sea view.

Settefrati

Settefrati, also known as the Bay of the Seven Emirs, is located close to Cefalù, in the locality of Mazzaforno, within a fascinating setting, surrounded by greenery and characterized by a clear and crystalline sea. To reach it you have to walk along a path surrounded by olive trees and plants.

This beach is dominated by some rock formations and it is to them that it owes its name. There are in fact seven rocks placed in a row, a short distance from each other, emerging from the water.

There is, of course, a legend about it: it tells of a woman who was in love with a fisherman and tried to escape in a boat with him, but was hindered by her seven brothers blinded by jealousy who threw themselves into the sea to prevent the escape, but they were turned into stones by the gods, who didn’t like the opposition to that love.

This place is perfect to spend a day of peace and relaxation, away from too noisy beaches.
