Piano Battaglia

Piano Battaglia (1500 m asl) rises in the heart of Madonie Park, in a large karst basin located between Pizzo Carbonara mountain range (1,979 m asl) and Monte Mufara (1,865 m asl), in an environmental context of high value, that is home to a splendid beech forest. 

It’s the starting point for many excursions on the Madonie mountains and in winter time it represents the only ski resort in western Sicily.
